When she appeared in the show, I remember wishing that we got to see her when she was all grown up and able to work at the ARC, and courtesy of you, we got it! Independent, stubborn, and almost irrationally devoted to her work/doing the right thing -- I can see how she fit into the team so well! I agree with canadian-jay, I'm really curious why Taylor was able to see the timelines, but kudos on the clever plot device.
I have to say my favorite thing is your characterization of Becker. Most stories (and even the show for that matter) tend to focus on him being a soldier and nothing but a soldier, but here we got to see his progression from concerned teammate (with a crush) to a guy head-over-heels in love, with all of the attending protective urges kicked into overdrive. I personally loved the touch with Becker threatening to throw Danny out of the window when he didn't move. Priceless mental image.
Perhaps it's a little cliche, but I loved the happy endings. They all definitely deserved it. (Though I'm curious if Danny ever found anyone, inside or outside of the ARC.)
Is it bad that I cheered when Helen was killed?
One more thing, then I'll stop squeeing. This is hands down one of my favorite Primeval fics that I've read. I'm bookmarking it now so I can have something for my Primeval fix while we wait for the next season to air. Thank you for writing it!
