Even with the security systems and doors that locked the rest of the world out, it still took them some time to get used to being able to sleep whenever they were tired. They still took turns watching over the other to make sure that they were always safe. This probably would have continued indefinitely if Becker hadn’t come over unexpectedly one night and seen what was going on. He positioned himself in the bed and pulled them into each of his sides. After that night, they weren’t as afraid to close their eyes and sleep, knowing he’d be there.
